Iran mulls death penalty for offensive blogs – 24 Mar 09

The number of state-sanctioned executions almost doubled last year. A report by Amnesty International shows Iran, Saudi Arabia and China as being responsible for 90 per cent of all executions in 2008. Now, Iran is proposing a new law that could see the death sentence imposed on internet bloggers who post offensive material on the web. Al Jazeera's Nazanin Sadri reports.

Serial killers are treated the same as anyone else who has commited such a horrific crime, anyone who has commited murder or homocide deserve the death penalty, there’s no two ways about it.
Serial killers should be spared, they CANNOT help what they do because its a product of their upbringing or their psychological. They are no more responsible than a person is for slipping on the bathroom floor. Let them sit in jail for while and think about it. THEN if they have shown restraint over time, let them assimilate back into normal society.

I don’t believe that Obama will EVER go back to eroding Constitutional rights. His legal training and personality wouldn’t allow him to go there. Bush’s family has always had a “holier-than-thou” view of themselves, as was demonstrated by his familial history of being financially involved with the Nazis.
